{"id":1247,"date":"2010-03-03T21:28:54","date_gmt":"2010-03-04T01:28:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/marktime.org\/?p=1247"},"modified":"2010-03-03T21:28:54","modified_gmt":"2010-03-04T01:28:54","slug":"rip-albert-the-cat-1996-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marktime.org\/?p=1247","title":{"rendered":"RIP Albert the cat (1996-2010)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/marktime.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Albert_700.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1248\" title=\"Albert\" src=\"https:\/\/marktime.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Albert_700-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marktime.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Albert_700-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/marktime.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Albert_700.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In November of 1995, we moved into our new home.\u00a0 This was our first house, having lived in apartments up until this point.\u00a0 We knew that the house needed more life.\u00a0 So in February of 1996 we were referred to a woman whose cat had had kittens.\u00a0 We were given a good reference by someone who had previously adopted from this woman.\u00a0 We went to her house, and met Albert and his litter-mate Isaac.<\/p>\n<p>Albert and Isaac had different personalities.\u00a0 Albert developed into the quiet cat, who used his voice only sparingly and for effect.\u00a0 He was also the happier of the two cats &#8211; always ready to see us.\u00a0 When he came to greet us he&#8217;d stand there with his tail straight up, shaking his back end and usually pawing his back feet.\u00a0 He had Insta-Purr, the ability to instantly start purring when pet.\u00a0 Albert was the runt of the litter but grew into a large but sleek 14-lb. cat.\u00a0 He and Isaac took turns being Top Cat.\u00a0 Albert was also the fraidy-cat &#8211; some visitors never saw him as he only came out when he was comfortable.\u00a0 Those who have been greeted by Albert should consider themselves royalty.\u00a0 He was able to tell when we held people in high esteem &#8211; those people got to meet him, maybe not at first, but while they were visiting.<\/p>\n<p>Both cats were gentle, never using claws on people&#8217;s skin.\u00a0 They didn&#8217;t often claw at the furniture until recently.\u00a0 They NEVER bit a person, instead hissing or very rarely growling when mishandled.<br \/>\n<span id=\"g07987ede\">viagra 100 mg <a href=\"http:\/\/mouthsofthesouth.com\/locations\/estate-auction-of-tracy-allen-deceased-and-family\/\">http:\/\/mouthsofthesouth.com\/locations\/estate-auction-of-tracy-allen-deceased-and-family\/<\/a> While somewhat a new comer to the Ough.
